Vin de Savoie

Nestled in the heart of the mountains, our vines grow on the clay limestone hillsides of two iconic Savoie mountains :
Mount Granier and La Savoyarde.

Our varied soils and orientations result in wines that are distinct and unique.

These characteristics come together to produce alpine wines of the highest quality.

Chignin / Francin / Montmélian

An exceptional terroir

On the slopes of LA SAVOYARDE

On the hillsides of the Bauges mountain range and La Savoyarde mountain,
the Chignin Bergeron benefits from exceptional conditions.

A South/South-East orientation, a soil made of limestone scree and the mountains providing protection from the North winds
and steep slopes-all of this results in the production of an exceptional white wine
that rivals with the best white wines in France. Made from the Roussanne grape (Bergeron in Savoie),
a variety that makes the finest Savoie wines, our wines possess surprisingly complex flavours.
The notable orientation of our vines produces exceptional red Mondeuse wines.

Myans

A breath of fresh air

AT THE FOOT OF THE CHARTREUSE MOUNTAINS

The two neighbouring vineyards of Apremont and Abymes were developed at the same time, after the Mount Granier landslide,
more than 750 years ago. The vineyard is located on a sloped hillside with an East/South-East orientation.

The rocky limestone soil and exceptionally sunny climate have been conducive to vine growth.
The limestone rocks of Granier cover a soil made of ancient glacial moraines and marlstone.
This unique terroir contributes to the expressive, fresh and mineral aspect of the Jacquère that is very specific
to the Abymes appellation. It reminds us of the invigorating alpine climate from which it comes.
Near the village of Myans, we grow Chardonnay and Malvoisie vines produce elegant wines.

Lac Saint André / Les Marches

A mineral force

ON THE SCREE OF MOUNT GRANIER

A charming retreat classified as a conservation site by the Department of Savoie,
Saint-André Lake was created following the great Mount Granier landslide. At the foot of Mount Granier and around the lake,
our Altesse grapes provide a relaxing breath of fresh air in a sunny climate.
This scree-marked terroir is particularly favourable to the Jacquère, a unique grape belonging to the Apremont appellation.

It produces fruity and mineral wines with smoky, flinty notes.
It also provides the opportunity to take spectacular walks between the vines and the lake.
